GDSG Tranter Garden

Garden Design Study Group

Ian Tranter’s Garden, Queanbeyan, NSW

Ian’s 10 year old garden is 60m long and steeply sloped, dropping 10-15m from front to back. Ian has terraced and continues to terrace his garden to make beds for his wide variety of plants. He specialises in eremophilas and has many interesting species and cultivars growing successfully. He also propagates eremophilas and sells them to Canberra gardeners.

For more information on this garden see Garden Design Study Group Newsletter 83, August 2013, p. 21
