Australian Grasses Study Group

The Australian Grasses Study Group was formed to study the cultivation and propagation of grass species that are native to Australia. A number of native grasses are already well known and used in horticulture including Kangaroo Grass (Themeda triandra), Wallaby Grass (Austrodanthonia species), Spear Grass (Austrostipa species) and Weeping Grass (Microlaena stipoides). However, there are many others that are virtually unknown in cultivation.
