This Group was formed to study the cultivation and propagation of Australia’s native daisies – the family Asteraceae. The work of the group resulted in the publication of three books:

Although this Study Group is now closed, during its period of operation the Group produced a series of highly detailed newsletters documenting reports from members into cultivation issues, propagation methods, natural occurrences of different species and taxonomy.

Newsletters

During its period of operation, the Study Group issued over 80 comprehensive newsletters all of which, as well as two indexes, are available for downloading. The Group went into recess in mid 2008 and, as far as is known, was not subsequently re-activated. Note that the earliest issues were published as the Brachyscome/Helipterum Study Group – the name was changed to Australian Daisy Study Group with Newsletter No. 15 in recognition of the expanded interest of the Group.
