Eremophila lachnocalyx x Eremophila phyllopoda

(Eremophila retropila)^*

Eremophila is a large genus of over 200 species, all endemic to Australia. “Eremophila retropila” is found naturally in the central west of Western Australia.

* Although “Eremophila retropila” is listed in the Australian Plant Census and in the Western Australian Herbarium’s ‘Florabase’, it is regarded as being a hybrid of Eremophila lachnocalyx and Eremophila phyllopoda.

Another unnamed hybrid with the same parentage is known.
